I am a decendent of Montgomery Alexander HUGHES. He was born in 1876 and died after cancer surgery in 1928.He was buried in Battle Creek. Wifes name believed to be Millie ALLEN His children were William Alexander HUGHES, my father, was born in Bussy, Iowa. Mary HUGHES - ANDERSON, Anna HUGHES - JOHNSON, Sylvia HUGHES - HASKINS. I have been unable to confirm or find records to substantiate this information.

In the 1893 Roster of Nebraska Veterans OHIO enlistees a Harrison Rightmire (private company A, 82nd Ohio Infantry)is listed as living in Tilden Nebraska. Any information on him or any member of his family would be greatly appreciated. I am researching the Rightmire family.
