I have been searching for Robert M. Bryant and Mary A. Biggs for
twelve years. Robert born Sep. 1835 Atlanta, Georgia; Mary Biggs
born 1845 Chattanooga, TN. They and their children are buried in
Lorton on her father's property. His name Allen Biggs, wife
Catherine Thomas.
Would like contact from descendants of his son Stephen Douglas
Bryant and Alice Argo. He was the sheriff of Omaha, NE. I think
he had a son Guy Bryant. Any Bryants or researcher of allied
lines, Quakers, whatever e-mail me.
Some allied lines are Severance, Michie, Snyder, Flatford,
Mendenhall, Mills, Millikan, Fouts, Ott, Fluke, Bowater, Beals,
Chamness, Hiatt. Many more, will share all.

I am looking for any information about George W. and Margaret
Melissa Fierling who lived in Palmyra. They had a son Ullyses S.
Grant. George had a sister Barbara Rosanna Rosenberry who lived
in Pawnee County and Hayes County. In 1908, George was a
commissioner in District 3 of Hayes County.
When he died he was living in Palmyra. Any information will
help. Other surnames in this line are Beezley, Rutherford and
Helfrie.

I am searching for any and all information about the O'Hara
family: Albert O'Hara died 1911 in Nebraska City, and his sons:
Robert Gile O'Hara and Roy Gile O'Hara. The brothers were twins,
born 1906 in Nebraska City in Otoe County, NE.
Albert's wife was Mina Grace Francis O'Hara, daughter of Rosetta
Gile Francis. Also searching for information on Caldwell H.
Francis and Earnest Lionel Francis.
This is my "lost" immediate family.

Researching the following: Carson Grant Lewis, b possibly MO 25
Jun ?, died abot 1942/43 in Nebraska City. Married abt 1894,
possibly Hamburg, IA or in MO to Effie Jane Harrison born 15 Nov
1876, Harrison County, MO died 25 Mar 1961, Omaha, NE. Effie was
the daughter of Lafayette Harrison and Alice P. Hadley.
Children: James A. Lewis born 1895, Hamburg, IA; Ernest R. Lewis
born 1898, born Hamburg, IA; Gladys G. Lewis born 1904 Nebraska
City, NE married Clifford Suitter; Earl E. Lewis born 1907,
Hamburg, IA; Gerald J. Lewis born 1911, Hamburg, IA; Aline M.
Lewis born 1913, Hamburg, IA; Lloyd D. Lewis born 1915, Nebraska
City, NE.
We are trying to find a birthplace and/or burial site for Carson
Grant Lewis, or connect with relatives who might point us in the

Interested in information about George Landerer who was born 5
Dec 1830 in Bavaria, emigrated via New York ca. 1859, came to
Nebraska City about 1868, and died in Nebraska City 18 Aug 1913.
He was a stonecutter and worked with Joseph Butzerin(e). Married
2nd wife Mary Schies in St. Louis, MO. He and second wife had no
children but adopted a daughter, Josephine, who married Leo
Carlin.
Will exchange information and wish to learn of any information
out there.

living in Syracuse in 1912. My dad, Virgil M. Johnson was born

All lived in Nebraska City.
Also looking for any info on any Vennemann's originating from
Wilhelm / 1825-1902 and Caroline (Neubauer) Vennemann/
1839-1921. They all lived in Nebraska City.
And the York family from Liberty, NE. My grandmother's name was
Cenith Ferne York (1916-1996). The family were farmers and I
believe her father was named Ernest Lewis York. Ernest's father
was Warren D. York?

I am searching for the descendants of Virna H. Lathrop. I have a
picture she sent to a Miss Frieda Maurer. The postmark is
Nebraska City, NE and the date is 190?.
Virna was around four and her mother probably wrote the
invitation to Frieda, who may also have been young.
I am not related. I just wish the picture to go to the right
people.

Mary "Anna" Carmody, b Aug 19, 1875, Nebraska City, Otoe, NE; m
10 Oct 1894, Loup City, NE to Charles E. Lane. She was the
daughter of James Carmody, b 1844, Bristol, England or in
Ireland and Elizabeth J. Chapman, b Jun 2, 1851, Des Moines or
Benton County, IA, and the granddaughter of John Carmody, b
1821, Ireland and his wife, Sarah, b Mar 10, 1827.
The parents of Elizabeth J. Chapman were Thomas Chapman, b abt
1831, OH or IA, and Mary J. Sanders, b 1834, Pittsylvania
County, VA. The 1865 census for Nebraska City, Otoe County shows
Mary J. Chapman and her children, but not her husband Thomas. No
records have been found to indicate why he wasn't listed.

Information wanted on Henry Penfield (or Penfield Henry) Dixon
and his wife Addie Walbridge Dixon who lived in Nebraska City
ca. 1887 - after 1920. They had sons Alvin Warren (or Warren
Alvin) born Nov 1882, Earl born Feb 1886, and R--?, born Feb
1888.
In 1920 Addie was a widow and worked as a cook at the Blind
Institute.

My grandfather was Dr. Oran Conley Asa, generally called Con or
Conley. He married Edith J. Shipley June 4, 1898 in Talmage, NE.
He managed a grain elevator, later owned by the Dentons.
Cecil Asa was born June 25, 1898, died Jan 31, 1978. Married
Caroline Heinke on May 26, 1921. She was born Feb 28, 1899 and
died ? ca 1979. He was a banker for more than fifty years at the
Bank of Talmage.
Lynn Jesse Asa was born Aug 14, 1901 in Talmage and died Dec 25,
1965. Buried in St. Paul Cemetery. Married Della Hanson Nov 24,
1927 in Talmage. She was born Feb 22, 1904.
My grandfather entered the Lincoln Medical College of Cotner
University and was a student there in 1904-5-6. His wife
returned to Talmage and they eventually divorced. He moved to
Ong, NE in Clay County and practiced medicine there until 1947.
I would like to know any information about any of these Asa
family members and any others that lived there. I would also
like to know about Caroline Heinke's family and when she died;
and also Della Hanson's family. I would like to know more about
Edith J. shipley, my grandfather's first wife

Had brother, George, no dates known.
Father was Charles Hancock b Mar 15, 1861 d Jun 15, 1908, buried
in Champion, NE. Mother was Jennie Applegate Hancock.
Searching for information on Charles Hancock, wife Jennie, and

I am searching for information on Mathias Schaden, born about
1875 in Austria-Hungary, married Maria Rongisch Jan 14, 1907 in
Otoe County, NE and died in 1960 in Nebraska City. They had one
son, Matthew, born about 1924 in Nebraska City who married
Beulah McIntyre. They had a daughter named Lois Jean, and a
daughter named Annie born in Nebraska City. Anyone with any
information on this family would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Looking for information on James Livingston (b 8-16-1826 d
7-20-1901) and wife Euphemia McLeod (b 5-8-1851 d 12-23-1917)
from Nebraska City and Delta/Lorton area.
They had several children including Daniel Webster Livingston
(married Emma Maria Schafer in 1906 at the English Lutheran
Church), a local in Nebraska City whose picture was hung in the
local courthouse.
