Augusta Amelia NICKEL DALLMAN Augusta Amelia NICKEL was born in Pomern, Germany, on July 12, 1866 and died in Blair, Nebraska, on Saturday, June 22, 1946. She was educated in Germany and in 1886 was united in marriage to Carl Dallman. They immigrated to the United States in March of 1889 and settled southeast of Western, Nebraska. They lived in the community ever since, joining the Methodist church in 1890. In 1918 they moved into Western. A few days after their move to this last home, Mr. Dallman passed away. Mrs. Dallman is survived by all three of her children, one daughter and two sons: Mrs. Esther Hansen of Alhambra, California; George and Fred Dallman of Western, Nebraska. She also leaves eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is survived by one sister, Amelia Hubbell of Rockyford, Colorado. She was a devoted wife and mother, loyal to her home and family. She was ever a faithful member of her church and found her highest joy in the service of her Lord. Besides her family she will be greatly missed by a host of friends to whom she endered herself. Thus ends the earthly chapter of a life whom we have loved long since and lost a while.
