Dr. C. C. Lillibridge Funeral in Crete
 
Funeral services for Dr. C. C. Lillibridge, 70, retired Crete dentist and former Weston resident
were held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 3, 1965 at the Methodist Church in Crete. Rev. Cecil B. Green 
officiated. Born May 10, 1894 and reared in Weston, Chauncey Clark Lillibridge was a graduate 
of Wahoo High School and the University of Nebraska Dental College. He practiced one year in 
Weston, before moving to Crete where he has since been. He was a former Mayor of Crete and 
a State Legislator. He married Ellen Ziegenbein of Memphis. He died in the Lincoln General Hospital 
at 4:28 a.m. Friday, April 30 following a gall bladder operation. 

Survivors include his widow, Ella; daughter Mrs. Arnold (Betty) Reid, Denver; brother William, Weston; 
sister Mrs. Gladys Von Nordheim, Los Angeles, Calif.; five grandchildren. Interment was in Memorial 
Cemetery, south of Lincoln with the Crete Lodge No. 37 A. F. & A. M. conducting graveside services.
