Ella Lillibridge dies December 8, 1991 Ella Elizabeth Lillibridge was born Sept. 20, 1893 at Memphis, Neb., to Charles and Martha Humboldt Ziegenbein, the third of 11 children and died Dec. 8, 1991 in Crete. She attended school at Memphis and graduated from Ashland High School. She also attended Peru Normal, which is now Peru State College. Ella married Dr. C. C. Lillibridge in Memphis, Aug. 29, 1917. After their marriage, they moved to Crete and have lived here the rest of their lives. One daughter, Betty, was born to them. Ella and her husband worked together in the dental practice. She became a member of Grace Methodist Church April 4, 1925 and received _______ membership pin in 1988. She was a 66 year member of the church at Crete. She was active in women's groups and circles, and was treasurer several times. She was in charge of the candy booth for many years at the bazaar. She was a member of the P. E. O. and Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband C. C., on April 30, 1965. She is survived by daughter Betty Reid and husband Arnold; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and three brothers, Rudolph, Carl and Walter Ziegenbein. Funeral services were Dec. 12 at Kuncl Funeral Home with Rev. J. B. Choate officiating. Soloist was Lillian Dudley with Ann Howard accompanying. Interment was at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery, Lincoln. Pallbearers were: Steven Reid, Jim Reid, Arnold Reid, Rick Cummings, Walter Ziegenbein and Alex Chrastil.
