Emil Chasdek
Emil Frank Chasdek was born February 8, 1923 at the home of his parents, Mr. and 
Mrs Frank Chasdek near Western, NE and died at the age of seven years and fourteen days.
He leaves to mourn his death his bereaved parents and one brother, Adolph. Besides these 
he leaves other distant relatives and many friends who will miss him from their circle of friendship.

He was sick only a short time and the end came very suddenly on February 22. (1930) His stay in 
this life was short and it is very hard to give a little one like this who is always dear to us. Yet He 
who hath given and He who has taken away promises us that He will also be our comforter in 
our hours of sorrow.

Some day when we shall see our Pilot face to face we shall understand and shall know that it is 
well for us to go even through such hours as this. Funeral services were held Monday February 24
at the home, in charge of Rev. E. H. Unvert of the Methodist church at Western and interment was
