Obituary of Frank Kaiser Frank Kaiser passed away at his home at Western Tuesday, July 25, 1939 at the age of 75 years, 7 months and 24 days, after an illness of a heart disease. Frank Kaiser was born Dec. 1, 1863 in Sallentine Pomerania, Germany. He was educated in the common schools and confirmed at the age of 14 years. After serving three years in the Army he emigrated to this country to meet his brothers, Christian, William and Gotfried, in the year 1888. For four years he worked as day laborer in the Daykin and Western communities. In 1893 he was united in marriage with Minnie Nickel and to this union three children were born, Carrie, Walter and Harry. They moved to the farm adjoining Western in 1920 where he lived until his death. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Minnie Kaiser, one daughter, Mrs. Carrie Junker of Fairbury and one son Harry of Western, and three grandchildren. One son, Walter preceded him in death, in the hospital in Germany after the World War while he was with the Army of Occupation. Mr. Kaiser became a member of the Methodist church after he came to America. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, July 27 at the Methodist church in Western, in charge of Rev. Kent Clifton. Music was furnished by the mixed quartette of the church with Mrs. O. F. Miller at the organ and piano. Burial was made in the Western Cemetery, C.
