Services Held Oct 8 (1957) For Frank Chasdek Funeral services for Frank Chasdek, who died at his home on a farm near Western on October 5, following a long illness, were held Tuesday, Oct 8, in Western. Born April 7, 1886, near Western, he was the son of John and Antonia (Uldrich) Chasdek. He was united in marriage to Alvina Kochsmeier on February 16, 1915. To this union, two sons were born, Adolph and Emil Chasdek. Emil preceded him in death. His survivors include his wife, Alvina Kochsmeier Chasdek and son, Adolph at the home. Three sisters, Mrs Minnie Norris, Fairbury, Mrs Matilda Schroeder, Omaha, and Mrs Henry (Daisy) Sobotka, Wilber. Preceding him in death were his parents, Mr. and Mrs John Chasdek, a sister, Mrs John (Sarah) Rauch, brothers, Edd Chasdek, Charlie Chasdek and John L. Chasdek. The funeral services were held at Winter Bros. Funeral Home Oct. 8, with the Rev. Glen Jones of the Baptist church in charge. Interment in the Plainview Cemetery.
