Death of Fred Dallman Fred Dallman of Western passed away, Oct. 10, 1956, at the Lincoln General hospital, at the age of 67 years, 10 months and 22 days. Fred William Dallman, son of Carl and Augusta Nickel Dallman, was born Nov. 18, 1888, in Pomerania, Germany. As a small child he came with his parents from Germany and settled on a farm southwest of Western. He lived on various farms in this vicinity until 1950 when he moved to Western, although he still remained active in farming. As a young boy, he joined the Methodist church of which he was a member. On Sept. 5, 1918, he married Stell Frei, and to this union four children were born, two of whom died in infancy. He is survived by his wife, Stella; one son, Leslie of Western; one daughter, Mrs. Dale Henske of Fairbury; three grandsons, one granddaughter, one brother, George, of Fairbury; and one sister, Mrs. Ester Hansen of Alhambra, Ca. Funeral services were Friday afternoon, from the Methodist church in Western, with burial in the Plainview cemetery, with Rev. Scott, officiating.
