Mrs. Mathilda Richey Mrs. Mathilda P. Richey of 928 A. street, Fairbury, Ne., died Jan. 12, 1969 at the age of 90 years, 11 months and 11 days. The daughter of William and Mary Kaiser, she was born in a dug out on the Kaiser farm 12 miles north of Fairbury on Jan. 31, 1878. She spent her childhood in this community. On Oct. 16, 1901 she was married to George A. Richey of Wymore, Neb. They lived near Wymore for four years and then returned to the farm north of Fairbury. After several years, they moved to a farm one mile south of Powell, living there until they retired about 12 years ago, when they moved to Fairbury. Mr. Richey preceded her in death on Feb. 13, 1962. Surviving are two brothers, Henry Kaiser of Fairbury and Andrew Kaiser of Beatrice, and nieces and nephews. Funeral services were Jan.15 in the afternoon at the Traum-Vance-Gerdes chapel with Rev. Donald Williams of the United Methodist Church officiating. Mrs. Darrel Junker was soloist. Dale Smith, Ervin Essman, Clarence Weishahn, Raymond Schmidt, Gerhard Schmidt, and Emil Burda were pallbearers.
