Norwood Walter Junker Jr. Services for Norwood Walter Junker Jr., 25, will be Thursday at 10 am. at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Green River, with Pastor John Johansen officiating. Mr. Junker died Aug. 24, 1986, north of Rock Springs, of a gun shot wound. He was born June 1, 1961 in Rock Springs, the son of Norwood Junker and Selma Ann Rathje Junker. He spent his entire life in Green River and was a 1979 Green River High School graduate. He had worked in construction and at the time of his death was employed by the Chevron Fertilizer Co. in Rock Springs as a process operator. He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his grandmother, Carrie Kaiser Junker of Fairbury, Ne.; four sisters Mary Ann Gahlos of Venice, Fla., Mrs. Walter, (Carol), Pivik of Rock Springs, Wyo., Norma Hunt of Warner Robins, Ga., and Mrs. Dana (Linda) Bunderman of Green River, Wyo.; five nieces, and four nephews, and an aunt, Irene Junker Watson, of Fairbury, Ne. He was preceded in death by his father on Sept. 1. 1984. Friends may call at the Smith-Perkes Funeral Home Wednesday from 4-8pm. and at the church one hour before service time.
