Died of Blood Poisoning Peter H. Junker of near Fairbury, died in a local hospital, Wednesday, February 26th. Mr. Junker suffered from blood poisoning or erysipelas starting from a scratch on his hand from a rusty nail, and has been seriously ill for a week before his death. He was brought to a Fairbury hospital on Sunday before his death. Mr. Junker was born July 10, 1887 on a farm near Gladstone, where he had lived all of his life, and he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harm Junker. He married Carrie Kaiser, Feb. 6, 1913 and to them were born four children, two of whom died in infancy. Mr. Junker was a member of the Fairbury Presbyterian Church. He was engaged in farming about 7 miles northwest of Fairbury. He leaves behind his wife, a daughter Irene, and a son Norwood. There are also two brothers Neal and Hiddie Junker of Fairbury, and two sisters, Dena of Hastings, and Mrs. Stena Behrends of Diller, Ne. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Presbyterian church with Rev. Shupe officiating.
