Thelma V. Polzel 

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2005, in Skyline Funeral Home for 
Thelma V. Polzel, who died Aug. 1 at age 89. Thelma Stanley was born Dec. 21, 1915, in 
Wilber, Neb. A homemaker, she lived in the Portland area for 60 years, including in Gladstone. 
In about 1938, she married Elmer; he died in 2004. Survivors include her son, Stanley K.; 
daughter, Sharon F. Eshelby; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
