Death of Mrs. Frank Kaiser Mrs. Frank Kaiser of Western passed away at her home, there Thursday, Dec. 14, 1944 at the age of 70 years, 5 months and 16 days, following a heart attack which she suffered two days before her death. Wilhelmina Augustine Nickel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Nickel was born June 26, 1874 in Doberpuhl, Pomerania Germany. She was baptized in infancy and at the age of 13 was confirmed in a community church in Germany and when 14 years of age came to the United States with her parents, locating near Western. On April 13, 1893 she married Frank Kaiser and with the exception of two years while they lived near Clay Center, Nebr., they always lived in or near Western. Preceding her in death were her husband and one son, Walter, who gave his life in World war 1. She is survived by a daughter, Carrie, Mrs. Ira Junker of Fairbury, and a son, Harry, of Western, by four grandchildren, Irene Watson, Norwood Junker, Harriet Kaiser, and Charlott Kaiser, and one great grandchild, Mary Ann Junker. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Augusta Dallmann of Western, and Mrs. Millie Hubbell of Rocky Ford, Colo. Relatives and friends from a distance attending the services were Mr. and Mrs. Dave Kaiser, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Edwards and Gayther Fisher of North Platte, Nebr., Mr. and Mrs. Ben Rathje, and Mrs. Norwood Junker and daughter Mary Ann, all of York, Nebr., Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Watson, Mrs. Harry Watson of Alexandria, Nebr., Mrs. Alice Necker of Hardville, Nebr., Frank Nickel of Archer, Nebr., E.D. Nickel of Fullerton, Nebr., and Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Kaiser and Mr. and Mrs. George Richey, all of Fairbury. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Methodist church in Western with the pastor, Rev. W. B. Zimmerman, officiating.
