Hi, I looking for information on Robert & Rachael Hooker. I think they may have been in Saunders Co., NE. They had a son William b. Abt 1843 in Indiana. I found a William Hooker & wife Gilliah, children: Judy; Boyd; George M.; Josephine (who married an Osborn) Emma (who married James Russell) on the 1900 Ashland Precinct, Saunders Co., NE census. I'm thinking this William could be Robert & Rachael's son. Does anyone know of this family? Thank You.

I am interested in finding or sharing information on Frederick Buchholtz , his wife Henrietta Buckhart and their children. Frederick and Henrietta homesteaded near Morse Bluff in abt. 1872. They came to the US in 1868, stayed in LakeMills, Wisconsin for four years before coming to Nebraska. They had several children. William Buchholtz, my ggrandfather was one of them. He was born in Germany in 1861. He married Melinda Leist in Feb. 1890 in Morse Bluff, Nebraska. I am very interested in finding their homesteading records and any other information anyone may have. I'm looking for records for my great grandfathers Herman Rood and Ora A. Watkins. Herman married Jennie Irene Victoria Lees on 25 January 1893. Ora married Elsie G. Huddleston on 14 May 1905. My great,great grandfather Abraham Lees died on 13 May 1915. I'm looking for records on his life as well.

Seeking information about my great Aunt: Sarah (Sadie) Tobin TYLER born 1867 died 1890 NE. married: Frank Presgrade Tyler. Daughter: Beatrice born 1890. Sarah died about 3 month after Beatrice was born, she is buried in Omaha.
There was a note in one of the Societies of Ne, monthly newsletters,that stated there was a Rebecca Conklin visiting Valpariso for Probate hearings 1895, so we do not know if it was for Sarah or Frank or custody of Beatrice. We are looking for anything about the Tobin/Tyler/Conklin's (Conklin was maiden name of Frank's mother. Family lore has it that the grandparents raised Beatrice. Any help will be truly appreciated, Thank you.

Henry W. Howe moved to Ashland from Winnipeg, Canada as a young man. He was a wagon maker by trade. He married Mary E. Aughe on Nov. 24, 1861, in Ashland, Nebr. Six children were born.... William, Edward, Loren, Charles, Ellen & James. Henry died Nov. 30, 1897 in Wahoo, Nebr. and it is written that he was buried in Ashland, beside his wife and daughter (Ellen). Mary E. Aughe was born May 19, 1831 in Ashland, Nebr. She died Aug. 9, 1887.

I have changed e-mail addresses from my other query. I have two new Osborne names: JERUSHA b. abt. 1841 & AUGUSTUS b. abt 1843. Also, JERUSHA, daughter of WILLIAM AND MARY OSBORNE(E) b. Abt 1868, I think she died after she was 2 years old. Does anyone have any information on her?

Looking for Nellie LAVERTY (b. around 1858, MI) who lived in the home of her sister, Violetta (Laverty) FULLER in Ashland, Saunders County, NE, in 1880's census. Violetta was the wife of Abel B. FULLER of Ashland. It is likely Abel was the secretary of the Ashland Mill and Electric Light Company. Did Nellie marry in Ashland?
