ALBION, LEIGHTY posted by Cindy Combs on Sunday, October 1, 2000

I am looking for the burial place of my ggrandmother Almira Leighty. She died on March 24, 1903 and according to her death certificate she was buried in Valparaiso, Ne on March 25, 1903. Her maiden name was possibly Albion. She died at the age of 31 of TB. Her husbands name was Amos Leighty - children were Burley, Minnie, and Ellsworth. She died at home in the Florence area of Omaha. My family believes that she is buried in Valparaiso because of a family connection. Would appreciate any help on how to research the cemetaries in Valparaiso or where we need to search.I do have her death certificate but there is little info on it. Thanks - Cindy
