I would like to find out what happened to the records of the Lutheran Church in Cedar Bluffs. Jacob Mayer's obituary stated he was a member there until 1913 when the church was sold. When he moved to NE from WI he joined the congregation by letter. I am hoping to find more on the family through the records and possibly photographs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am researching my husbands family. His G-father Cleo Melverton Furry was born in Ceresco NE on 23 Jun 1880 to Hiram and Mary Delcinia Smith Furry. Story goes Hiram was killed in a harness racing accident and Mary remarried. We do not have any othr information on the Furry before that.
