Sarah Kimball moved to Saunders Co., between 1880 and 1885. She remarried sometime around 1892. That is when her husband divorced her in IN. She died around 1897 in NE, but I don't know the name of her new husband.
Thanks for your help so I'll get straight to the point. My g-g-grandfather Simon Kennedy and Elizabeth lived in Ashland, I believe all their marriage. since around 1868. They show up in many Census reports. Some spelled Canada, but most Kennedy. I have no record of them in 1890, since the fire destroyed record. However, I was told the county or city kept records as well. I hope this is true. So with that being said if there are records of that year, can you direct my pathways to the proper area? I am loking for all children, of Simon and Elizabeth, and one of their sons (shows John in some and James in others) and John's wife Maude Mcguire and info on her family and children. Any information or direction would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely; John Wm. Kennedy P.O.Box 1338 Warsaw, Missouri 65355

Hello. I am researching my father's side. His grandfather, FREDERICK BACON DURELL, was born in Ashland, Saunders NE on June 26, 1881 or 1882 (I have conflicting information about the year). Anyway, I am desperately trying to determine who his father and mother were. I have found in census reports that both of his parents were born in Maine, but, that is really as far as I have been able to get. Please let me know if you can provide the names of his (FRED BACON DURELL) birth parents. Thank you.
I am trying to locate Theron Secor's family. I found him in Marble, Saunders, Nebraska in the 1880 census. His wife's name was Catheriine and he had two sons, Arthur and Ben H. Theron is my 2nd great grandmother, Jane, "Jennie" Josephine Secor's uncle. She and her family (Francis L. Wilcox) lived with them in Saunders county for a year before moving further west (1877-78). I don't know what happened to them after 1880. I would appreciate any knowledge about this family.
