Her father was the above mentioned William and her mother was Malinda Elizabeth Leist Buchholtz. I would like to share information with anyone researching this line. I have also recently found some very old pictures that I would like help in identifying the people. One picture is of the old homestead in Saundres County. I know the people in it. they are Melinda Leist Buchholtz holding Fritz Buchholtz. William Buchholtz is in the picutre as well as his mother Henrietta.

QRYTEXT: Trying to find death a/o burial info for Dante or David W Thomas. He was born in Michigan, served 90 days in the Union Army, lived in Toledo OH as a stone mason, boarded with the J.R. Thompson family, married their daughter Georgiemma. He moved to Nebraska around 1878 with wife and daughter Kitty; was in ?Stocking, Saunders county in the 1880 census, listed as farmer. That's the last record i can find for him. In 1883, Georgiemma's parents moved to Wahoo from Toledo to be with her. Thanks to Jean Tvrdy, i know where the rest of the family (Thomas / Thompson / Lemkuil) is buried (Sunrise Cemetery), but still haven't found Dante. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Leroy live around Wahoo in 1900 and in 1920 both Leroy and Lizzie and their four children (Earl, Pearl, Hazel, and Lola) live i Morse Bluff. In 1910 they lived in Dodge County and in 1930 lived in Douglas County.

QRYTEXT: I'm looking for information on Henry Keiser (or Kaiser) and Mary J McCoulogh (or McCulloch). They were married in 1878, possibly in Saunders County, but can't find a record of the marriage. The Keisers are buried in the Indian Mount Cemetery, although Henry's grave is not listed. The Keiser family is well documented is a story about Eli. I can find nothing on McCulloch (or McCoulogh). Does anyone know who Mary's parents are. From the 1880 and beyond Census, I know that Mary was born in Illinois (1860)and her are from Indiana.
Henry and Mary might be Lizzie Kaiser (Keiser) Tompkins parents, see my earlier query.
Any information would greatly be appreciated.

QRYTEXT: I am trying to find descendants of John O. Gibson born in Illinois and later lived in Saunders Co. Nebraska. He had a son Gordon and a daughter Gladys. I have a huge photo album of this family. I spent $300 on it at an auction because the genealogist in me would NOT let it go to an antique dealer. The names I've gleaned from it are John O., Gordon, Gladys and I have found them in the census records in Marietta, Saunders County, NE. Other names are Anna St. Clair, Mrs. Gus Behrens (I think this is August Behrens wife), August and Oscar Behrens, Mrs. Adell, a photo of "John Gibson Farm" -- there are probably 300 photos in this book. There are what appear to be family reunion photos. There is a picture of Gordon (Gibson), Goldie Gibson, Beulah Fullerton, Gladys, and and Ernest Fullerton, Jr; of Uncle Albert Jepson, Pierre Johnson, Maggie Johnson, Louise Berg, Nora King. I will continue to try to find this family -- if you are family and wish to compensate me for the book, I will GLADLY put it back in the hands of a family member but you MUST be family.

Anna Burda (b. Bohemia 1849) was arrested for murdering her husband Frank in Lincoln Co. OK in 1897 and spent twelve years in prison before being pardoned. She didn't kill him but who did? The murder may have been connected to the value of the Burda homestead in Saunders Co. (NW quarter of section 18).
