  • WILSON

  • 25 June 1998

I visited Webster County two years ago to finally follow the footsteps of my favorite author Willa Cather.  She was also my Mother's favorite.  While taking the W. Cather self-drive tour of the area outside Red Cloud I stopped at the Norwegian cemetary.  There amongst all the Norwegian/Scandanavian headstones was the only Anglo name "Irene
Wilson."  I believe the year of death was in the 1940's.  "Irene Wilson" is my mother's maiden name.  I would very much appreciate any information on who this individual was, why is she buried in the Norwegian cemetary?  Do you know where I might find this information?  Thank you.
