Activities: served as president of Mid-Nebraska Community Action for many years and was very active in the church, including Bible studies
Survivors include his wife; sons, Craig and Dan, both of Ravenna, and Curt of Aurora; brothers, Melvin Herman of Commerce City, Colo., and Dean Herman of Evergreen, Colo.; and sister, Carolyn Wolkensdorfer of Annapolis, Md.; also daughters-in-law, Teresa and Denise, both of Ravenna, and Cindy of Aurora; grandchildren, Amber, Keith, Paul, Kelsie, Adam, Ryan and Amy; sisters-in-law, Jan Herman of Commerce City and Charlene Herman of Evergreen; brother-in-law, Dan Wolkensdorfer of Annapolis; and several nieces and nephews
