My gg-grandmother Maria SASSE, dau of Michael SASSE and Maria FAEHRPAHL, was b Nahausen, Germany, 1821. She immigrated in 1846 with her parents and a group of others named FELLWOCK, SCHWAN, JAGOW, and OERTWIG. They lived first in Dodge Co., WI and then in Fayette Co., IL. Maria moved to Nebraska and lived with her daughters Emma SCHUKAR, Annie BRANDHORST, Amanda SIEBKE, and Matilda KOEPPEN. Always looking for anyone connected with any of these families.

Looking for info on family of William Henry Shultz, wife Kitty J. (Seckman) Shultz, parents of 16 children. Kitty died in Kearney in 1921. William died 1894. Came to Nebraska in the mid 1800's settling I believe in Kearney Co. But after the death of William moved to Kearney.

Hunting for relatives of Peter/Nancy (DAVISON) HUNTER from IN. Found on 1900 census in Buffalo Co.,NE and traveled to OK. Also related to APPLEGATEs in Dawson/Buffalo Counties. Nancy's parents were: Evaline APPLEGATE and Richard DAVISON. DAVISON was born in Greene Co., OH and APPLEGATE in Delaware Co.,IN. Peter was son of Aaron HUNTER b.?NJ and lived in PA possibly Beaver Co. Peter's mother was (Mrs) Cynthia A LAWRENCE RAMSEY.

Some of my ancestors lived in Buffalo Co.; one family--the JILGs lived in Sartoria Township & the other in Loup--the HATHAWAYs. One of the HATHAWAYs married a JILG and moved to WA State where I was born. Would like to hear from others that are searching these surnames.

I'm researching Fred DONNER who in 1880 was listed as living in Buffalo county - Shelton Precinct. with wife Minnie children: Tillie (12) Lydie (9) Johnie (7) Freddie (5) and Minnie (5/12) Fred's wife evidently died between census taking as he married a Rosa Bower in Buffalo county -- her maiden name was BETKY/BETHKE. Any information relative to this family #1/#2 would be appreciated.

I'm looking for information on Billie NICHOLS and his wife Mary Catharine TILGER. I know they lived in Kearney, Buffalo County, Nebraska, in 1917 and that Mary Catharine was born about 1861. The family legend says that Billie's first wife was Jesse James's sister. I see on the Buffalo County web site that there is a biographical sketch of W. S. Nichols on page 301 of "Buffalo County, Nebraska, and Its People" published in 1916. Could someone please check that and see if it might be about Billie? Thanks much.

I am looking for information on the family of my great-grandmother Minnie WALLACE - BANCROFT. She was born March 8, 1863 in Petersburg, WV. She married William Alward BANCROFT on May 2, 1889 in Kearney, Nebraska and died July 28, 1915 in Seattle, WA. Her parents were George WALLACE born in PA and M. Wilson. Minnie was the only daughter of a family of six. I would love to know more about her family. If you have any information on this family, please contact me!
