Searching for descendants of James Franklin HUNTER and wife, Laura A. RUSCO who lived and died in Pleasanton, Buffalo County, NE. Prior to moving to Buffalo County, they lived in Custer or Sherman Counties in the late 1880's to early 1890's near his sister, Elcy Ann HUNTER PORTLOCK (my great-grandmother). She died in April of 1890 and is buried in the Weaver Cemetery/Round Top Cemetery located on Hwy. 2 in Custer County. I would enjoy making contact with their family.

I am looking for any information on the family of Walter A. WHITNEY, he was born in WI in 1852, and married Martha Farris in IL. According to census records he was in Buffalo Co., NE in 1885 and stayed there. Walter is the son of Truman WHITNEY and Florilla HOLMES.
