Andrew Vang (aka Anders S. Vang) was born in Denmark about 1878, and Anna was born in Norway about 1881. Their children, all born in Nebraska, were: Nels Stephen, Marie G, William E, Ethan M, Harvey A, Lloyd C, Leroy, and Anna M.
The 1910 NE Greeley County, Spring Creek, census shows Andrew immigrated to the USA in 1900 and Anna in 1902. In 1910, 1920, and 1930 US Nebraska censuses all show the Vang family living in Spring Creek Precinct, Greeley County.
Ellis Island immigration records show Anders S. Vang's last place of residence was Copenhagen, Denmark, and he arrived in the USA 16 Mar 1901, age 23, on board the SS Campania which left Liverpool. His final destination was to be Walbach (sic Wolbach) Nebraska; he was going to a friend, P Jacobson and was traveling with Niels D. Nielsen, also 23, whose final destination was to friends, which had "dittos" under Walbach (sic Wolbach).
