NSGS--NEBRASKA ANCESTREE Vol VIII, no. 2, page 45 - Fall 1985 Submitted by: Janice Andrews, Omaha, NE FOLSOM LEDGER (Saunders County) I purchased a ledger at a flea market. This ledger pertains to the FOLSOM (family Brick, Livery, Feed and Sale Stable, and also Hack & Bus Line that operated in Ashland, NE. On many of the entries the year was not given. In some cases only one or two years was given but journal entries appeared both before and after the year was mentioned. The ledger also contained many loose pieces of paper and additional information was also copied from them.

ROBINSON, State Missionary for Nebraska, in company with William FLETCHER, who was our first acting minister, and the charter members are as follows: Mrs. MA. CREMER J.W. His father, Gardiner DEAN, was a minister in the Christian church. At an early age DEAN attended schools in Ohio. Grad. from law dept at Mich. Univ. in Ann Arbor. In 1894 moved to Wahoo. On 16 Dec 1871 mar Miss Antoinette Jane PRICE at Beloit, Wis. 3 days (sic) born: Miss Clara of Los Angeles; Miss Daisy who passed away some 5 yrs ago; Mrs. Addie HOWELL of Fairbury. In 1897 his first wife passed away at Wahoo. 2 sis survive him; Mrs. Ada D. Davidson of Whiting, Ind. & Mrs. C.G. FAIRCHILD OF Brooklyn, NY.
