The Gallant Boys who have answered their last Roll Call.

On fame's eternal camping ground
   The silent tents are spread,
And glory guards with solemn round
   The bivouac of the dead.

   These boys of ours who gave their all, who made the supreme sacrifice that the world might be free--are gone, in body, it is true; but to live forever in the hearts of those they have left behind, is not to die. In the hearts of a grateful nation, they will live long after you and I are gone.

   They will take their place in the nation's Hall of Fame with the heroes of '76 and '61. They have won the undying gratitude of the world because they have saved, for the future, civilization and the freedom of mankind.
