The Thayer County Genealogical Society has old newspapers for Bruning, Carleton, Chester, Davenport and Hebron, along with census records, family files, photographs, cemetery indexes, etc.

Liz Henning shared this information on the Hebron cemeteries:
Two of the three cemeteries in Hebron now have available, on site, an index of burial plots. (Catholic Cemetery does not.) Street signs have been erected, and a book at the entrance to the cemetery lists where to find a grave. All persons interred are listed.
