Married-at the home of the bride's parents, Monday, November 11, 1895, Dr. G.A. Birdsall to Miss I. Maude Berkley, Rev. J.V. Whiting of Fairbury officiating. The newly married couple are well and favorably known to all of our readers and do not need an introduction at our hands. After the marriage ceremony, the happy couple started for Omaha where they will spend their honeymoon, visiting relatives. THE ARGUS extends congratulations.

SILVER WEDDING ANNIVERSARY.
MR. AND MRS. E. H. BROCK, who celebrated the twenty-fifth anniversary of their marriage,
were married on October 18, 1877, near Savannah, Andrew county, Mo., where they lived for
five years. About twenty years ago they moved on a farm seven miles northwest of
Alexandria, their present home. Pursuant to special invitations, a number of their most
intimate friends and relatives assembled at their home last Sunday and made the day merry
and a general good time. A bountiful dinner was prepared, the table being loaded down
with all the luxuries and palatable food that could be produced on a well-regulated farm,
of which the entire company did justice. They were the recipients of an elegant silver
tea set. Mr. and Mrs. Brock are held in high esteem by their many friends, who all wish
them the return of many happy anniversaries. Those present were:
