Our Annual Meeting was held Saturday, August 24, 2024 - 2:00 PM
Officers and Board of Directors will remain the same for the upcoming year.
Prior
to the meeting entertainment was provided to the public by
Chris Sayre of Lincoln presenting one of his Humanites Nebraska Speakers Programs - Nebraska's Musical Smorgasbord: Music from Various Ethnic Groups in Nebraska.
His audience very much enjoyed his use of many different instruments to accompany the songs and stories. Root Beer floats were served from the AG II Building Kitchen. |
Also on August 24, the Museum entered the Cobblestone Festival Parade. The parade theme was "We've Got the Spirit." Our float theme was "Olympic Spirit Begins at Home." On our float we depicted many items from our museum. The float won the 3rd Place prize among many fine floats in the organization category. A big thank you to the float committee and their helpers! June Bowers, Jason & Chandler Stevens, Jan Deckinger, Farm & City Supply, and Wolfe's Printing. |
