This historical museum building was acquired in 2002 and displays items that were once stored in 5 locations with no public access. The large adjacent Agricultural Warehouse Building opened in May, 2010. In 2016, the historical society was able to purchase property across the street. An additonal Agricultural Building was constructed on this site in the summer of 2019. Visit our museum often to see newly acquired artifacts. Our helpful volunteer staff is very willing to answer questions about the displays in the museum and Richardson County history.
Many improvements and additions have been to the displays within the three buildings and in the three display areas in Prichard Auditorium. We are anxious to share.

We welcome visits by appointment and group events. We have volunteers who will be happy to show you around.

This Civil War Era sewing table has returned to Falls City honoring the request of Nellie Holt Bok, whose grandmother brought it from Virginia to Missouri. It crossed the river from Missouri to Falls City and many years later Nellie took it with her to Pennsylvania and then it went to Camden, Maine. It has now been sent to us from Maine by Nellie's granddaughter, Rachel Bok Goldman.
"Again crossing the river."
