1. Private Ben P. Rumpeltes,    Son of Mrs. Marie Rumpeltes, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., Oct. 15, 1918; and received training in the S. A. T. C. at Kearney State Normal, receiving his discharged December 10, 1918. At present he is farming near New Castle, Wyoming.

2. Sergeant Andy H. Rumpeltes    Son of Mrs. Marie Rumpeltes, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Omaha. Neb., June 28, 1917; trained at Ft. Riley and Camp Greenleaf, in Army Sanitation Medical Department. Served in France until discharged February 10, 1919. At present is on a homestead at New Castle. Wyo.

3. Private Walter L. Anderson    Son of Mrs. Ella Anderson, Pleasanton, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney. Neb., in Sept. 1917; trained at Camp Funston for M. G. Co., later with Co. A 2nd Engineers. Went through France and was with the Army of Occupation in Germany.

4. Private Thomas H. Sanford    Son of Mrs. Emily Sanford, Chicago, Ill.
Entered the service at Kearney. Neb., May 27, 1918, and trained at Camp Dodge, Ia., for service in the 138th Field Artillery, later serving with Battery B, 88th Division in France. Discharged January 16. 1919.

5. Fred W. Lake    Son of Mrs. Cora M. Lake, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., June 15, 1918; trained at State University at Lincoln, and Leavenworth, Kansas and Camp Meade, entering the Radio Department. Discharged in February, 1919.

6. Private Clarence J. Walker    Amherst, Nebraska.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., March 30, 1917; was trained at Camp Cody, in M. G. Co., 134th Division. Later sailed for France, not seeing actual service, but doing Military Police work at St. Jerome, France, 259th Co, M. P.

7. Private Norman E. Robinson    Son of Jennie S. Robinson, Gibbon. Neb.
Entered service at Ravenna, Neb., in July 1917, and trained at Aurora and Camp Cody, for service in Co. M. 32d Division. Was on the firing line for 30 days in France, returning with his division.

8. Private John C. Sweeney   Son of James Sweeney, Ravenna, Neb.
Entered the service at Grand Island, July 5. 1918; trained at Fort Bayard, for service in the Medical Corps, serving in France on the Argonne front with supplies, later in Brest, France, at Base Hospital 118, A. P. O. 716.

1. Private Harry M. Dent,    Omaha, Nebraska.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., in July, 1917, and was trained at Camp Sherman, Ohio, and Camp Taylor, Kentucky, for service in 339th Ambulance Co., of the 84th Division. Served in France until his discharge.

2. Private Tilford Hecht,   Son of Mrs. S. I. Hecht, Norfolk. Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., October 3, 1917, and trained at Camp Funston, for service overseas. Saw service on the Alsace-Lorraine front and Argonne sector, receiving his discharge July. 7. 1919.

3. Corporal Thomas E. Booth,   Son of T. J. Booth, Beatrice. Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., in May, 1918, and was trained at Camp Dodge, Ia., and De Souge, France; consigned to Radio Service with Battery E, 338th F. A. 88th Division. Received discharge January 18, 1919.

4. Corporal Alex W. Rhone,    Son of F. S. Rhone, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Fort Logan, Colo., July l9, 1918, and trained at Camp A. A., Humphreys, Va., for service with Co. F, 5th Engineers, and received his discharge on April 18, 1919.

5. Corporal Trigg Dailard,   Son of W. D. Dailard, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Lincoln, Neb., September 18, 1918, and received training in Co. K, 4th Infantry Battalion, serving until December 29, 1918, when he received his discharge.

6. Private Frank T. Weed,   Son of Edward E. Weed, Schenectady, N. Y.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., May 17, 1918, and trained at Camp Dodge, Ia., for service with the Engineering department of the 88th Division. Saw service in France, also with the Army of Occupation. Discharged May 26. 1919.

7. Private Lawrence F. Haug,   Son of W. H. Haug, Shelton, Neb.
Entered the service at Lincoln. Neb., Oct. 4, 1918, and received training at State Uni., in the S. A. T. C., with Co. D, Sec. A. Received his discharge December 14. 1918, and at present in residing in Shelton. Neb.

8. Private Hallie B. Cooper,   Son of Perry J. Cooper,Kearney, Neb.
Entered service at Kearney, Neb., April 1, 1918; trained at Camp Funston, in Engineering Department of 89th Division. Saw service in St. Mihiel, Argonne and Meuse campaign. Severely gassed, in hospital two months. Discharged June 4,'19.

Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., Sept. 5, 1918, trained at Camp Grant, and Camp McArthur, Tex., for duty in Co. I, 3d Replacement. Discharged January 13, 1919. Resides at Grand Island, Nebraska.

2. Private Lester Drage,      Son of Mrs. Angeline Drage, Soldier, Kansas
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., Oct. 3, 1917, and was trained at Camp Funston, for service in Hdq. Co., 355th Infantry, 89th Division, Saw service in St. Lucey, St. Mihiel, and Meuse-Argonne sectors; Army of Occupation, and received his discharge June 2, 1919.

3. William P. Mullen,   Son of Mrs. John Mullen, Shelton, Neb.
Entered the service Oct. 1, 1918. through Creighton University S. A. T. C. Training Corps, remaining until the armistice was signed. Discharged December 11, 1918.

4. Earl E. Forshey,   Son of A. A. Forshry, Shelton, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., August 22, 1918, and trained at Camp Funston, for duly with Battery F, Field Artillery. Received his discharge papers on February 4, 1919. Resides at Benkelman, Nebraska.

5. Hans Alfred Buhmann,   Son of Edward Buhmann, Miller, Neb.
Entered the service at Camp Funston, Kansas, and trained at Camp Cody, New Mexico. The last address given was from Remount Depot 326, Camp Cody, N.M. Wounded in right hand, one finger off. No other information obtainable.

6. John Cherry,    Son of George Cherry, Sartoria. Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Nebraska, and trained at Camp Grant. Ill., and Camp McArthur, Texas, for duty with D. B., 45th Infantry. Received his discharge papers December 18, 1918.

7. Private Samuel R. McKinney,    Son of Willis McKinney, Ravenna. Neb. Entered the service at Kearney. Neb., Sept. 19, 1917, and trained at Camp Funston, for duty in Co. A. 341st M. G. Bat., 89th Division. Saw service in France with 2nd Provisional Machine Co., 19th Grand Division.

8. Private Frank I. Mladek,    Pleasanton, Nebraska.
Entered the service at Kearney. Neb., Sept. 19, 1917, and trained at Fort Riley, Kansas, for duty with Co. C, 40th Infantry later transferred to Camp Sherman, Ohio. Discharged June 4, 1919, and living at Pleasanton, Neb.

1. Waid Balcom, Aerial Operator,    Kearney, Nebraska.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., July 25, 1917, and was trained at Great Lakes Naval Training Station, for duty as an aerial operator. Was in foreign waters during fall and winter of 1917-18. Discharged April 8, 1919.

2. Orville I. Shreve, Aviator Second Class,    Son of A. D Shreve, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Grand Island, Neb., December 8, 1918, and trained at Ft. Logan and Kelley Field, for duty in the Aviation Service. At present is a machinist at Grand Island, Nebraska.

3. Sergeant John M. Troupe,    Son of Mrs. M. N. Troupe, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., January 19, 1918, and trained at Camp Sevier, S. C., for duty with the 19th Co., 1103d Aero Squadron. Saw duty in France and received his discharge May 30, 1919.

4. Private George W. Dunn,    Son of M. F. Dunn, Kearney, Neb.
Joined the service at Billings, Mont., December 2, 1917, and was trained at Camp Lewis, Kelley Field, and Camp Hancock, for duty with Motor Mechanics Reg. Signal Corps. Saw service with the A. E. F. in France.

5. Corporal William McIntyre,    Son of Robert McIntyre, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Grand Island, Neb., July 28, 1917, and was trained at Kelley Field, Texas, for duty with the 474th Aero Squadron. Saw service on Chateau-Thierry, St. Mihiel, and Verdun sectors. Discharged February 5, 1919.

6. Ernest Schwab,    Son of John Schwab, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., July 21, 1918, and was trained at Camp Dodge, for duty in Co. 5, Aviation Corp. Received his discharge December 11, 1918. Resides on a farm near Riverdale, Nebraska.

7. Sergeant Dae C. Lantz,    Son of W. C. Lantz, Lincoln, Neb.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., August 18, 1917, and was trained at Ft. Logan, transferred to Kelley Field, for duty in the 4th Aero Squadron. Was injured in airplane accident, and has never fully recovered from effects of his fall. Discharged in January, 1918.

8. Will Jerrold Scoutt, Chief Quarter Master    Son of W. J. Scoutt, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Kansas City, Mo., July 6, 1918, and was trained at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, for duty in Naval Aviation. Received his discharge papers on November 29, 1918. Farming at Kearney, Nebraska.

1. Captain Charles K. Gibbons,    Son of Henry Gibbons, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., July 15. 1918, in the Medical Corps; trained at Ft. Riley and served for two weeks caring for flu cases at Pottsville, Pa.; transferred to Bordeaux, France, in Base Hos. III, A. P. O. 705, where he remained until the summer of 1919, when he received his discharge. Practicing physician at Kearney, Nebraska.

2. Private Elmer Earl Galvin,    Son of George A. Galvin, Kearney. Neb.
Entered service at Kearney, Neb., October 4, 1917; trained at Camp Funston, was a member of Hdq. Co., 355th Inf., 89th Division until January 14, 1918 when he received his discharge. Is now farming near Kearney, Nebraska.

3. Second Lieutenant R. S. McCutcheon,    Son of Mrs. H. M. McCutcheon, Kearney. Neb.
Entered the service at Ft. Sheridan, Ill., July 18, 1918, and trained at Ft. Sheridan for infantry service in 9th Co., S. A. T.C. Transferred to Nashville, Tenn., until Dec. 21, 1918, when he received his discharge.

4. Private Evald A. Larson,    Son of Mrs. Emma Strolberg, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., July 28. 1918, and trained at Camp Dodge, Ia., for infantry service. Saw active service with the Expeditionary Forces in France for some months.

5. Private Pete M. Pettit,    Son of F. L. Pettit Kearney. Neb.
Entered the service at Fort Logan, Colo., and trained at Camp Fremont, Calif., and Camp Mills, Ammunition Train, Co. C., 8th Division; discharged in January, 1919; now resides in North Platte, Nebraska.

6. Private Adolph Kasal,    Son of Anton Kasal, Poole, Neb.
Entered the service at Camp Funston, September 19, 1917, trained at Camp Funston and Camp Cody, N. M., with 4th Neb., 34th Division. Received his discharge August 19, 1918, and is at present farming near Poole, Nebraska.

7. Private Lukas Hofbauer,    Son of Mrs. Louise Hofbauer, Gibbon. Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., July 22, 1918; trained at Camp Dodge and Camp Lee, for service in the veterinary department. Served in a veterinary hospital located at Souqy, France.

8. Private Arthur H. Barrett,    Son of A. Barrett Elmcreek, Neb.
Entered the service at Kimball, Nebraska, September 18, 1918, and trained at S. A. T. C., Manhattan, Kansas, for service in the Mechanical Engineering Department. Received his discharge December 11, 1918.
