   A live and active Chamber of Commerce of more than two hundred members is growing rapidly into an association whose sole aim is to promote Lexington and surrounding territory. Under its influence our city is awakening to the great possibilities which lie before it, and such institutions, built upon courage and faith, are not the playthings, but the masters of our city's activity and progress.

OVERTON, NEBRASKA

   Population, 500. On main line Union Pacific. Good water works. Twenty-four-hour electric service. Deposits in banks, $800,000. Farming and stock-raising. Twelve-grade accredited high school. Christian, Methodist and Catholic churches. Fifty thousand dollars' worth of new buildings in last year and that much more contemplated. Lincoln Highway through center of town. Land worth from $100 to $300 per acre. Ninety per cent of people own their homes.
