My grandmother's name was Margaret Flanagan born Nov. 15, 1879 in Toulon, IL. she married George P. Martin, they farmed in Grafton then moved to York. George and Margaret had seven children. I am looking for info on Eben or Ebenzer Davis or his family. He is listed in GAR post 33 which is Grafton, Fillmore Co., NE. He was a Civil War Vet. I believe he died in 1870 in Richardson Co., NE, but could have been in Fillmore County. I can not locate him in an 1870 census even though he died in Nov 1870 and his wife Sarah is in Richardson Co., NE in 1870. He is my 3rd great grandfather. Any information you have would be helpful.

MONTGOMERY, Samuel & Jane Holtom - they were born in England and came to Fillmore County, Nebraska in 1888. Samuel died at Grafton, NE on 04 Jan 1889. Jane MONTGOMERY lived with her daughter, Sarah CHAMBERLIN at Fairmont and then with her oldest daughter, Esther HOWELL and died at Oxford, NE on 12 Sept. 1909.
