I'm not sure I have the right sight but I am looking for a connection or information on John Stanley Jones. He was born around 1906 and was married for a time to Austa Elizabeth Scheie. (Shay) They had two daughters, Jacqueline Elizabeth and Jeanne Marie. There was a divorce although I am not sure of the year, sometime after 1928 I believe. This man is my grandfather and I would like to information and possible a connection to him or family.
Thank you,
Carole Moser

I submitted a query requesting info on Alvin Williams and Eliza Hannah Croxen a few years back. Now I am looking for info on Eliza's brothers, Richard W. Croxen and Edward H. Croxen. Also, info on their father Thomas W. Croxen, whose wife's name was Mary. They came to Nebraska from Iowa.

Born to Peter AUGUST Gustof "FRED" Fleed FREED "PETERSON" - born and died in Sweden- and Johanna Johnson -born and died in Sweden- per my MG-GF Frank FRANC AUGUST Peterson's Iowa marriage application. He was b in Sweden Aug 1862-1863. I didn't know he had a brother til I found his 1931 Ottumwa Courier (IA) obit. Andrew was listed as living in PHILLIPS HAMILTON CO NE. Now, Mom received an inheritance from a long lost who lived in NE in 1970. It was originally for her mother, Rose Peterson Conger, Frank Franc's daughter. GM died in '63 in Ottumwa IA. The letter and check had been forwarded many times. Mom can't remember the original post date or who the relative was. GGF came to the US in 1882 and received citizenship in 1887. So, it's possible that Andrew traveled with him and may have lived a short time in Ottumwa IA before moving to Nebraska. Well, that's all I know and I sincerely appreciate someone helping me to disc over more about MG-GU. Mom is 78 yrs old, and I'd like to find out more about her Uncle before she's gone.
