Word came from Norfolk Monday that Mrs John Nachtman had passed away at the Lutheran hospital, where she was taken Sunday for medical treatment. Mrs Nachtman's passing is a sad blow to her husband and other relatives. She is a young mother and leaves two small children.

Funeral Services for Mrs Mary Nachtman were held at St Joseph's Catholic Church at 9 o'clock, am Wednesday, May the 2nd and interment was made in the parish cemetery.
The deceased, who was a resident near Amelia in the south part of this county, passed away in a hospital at Norfolk, Nebraska Monday, April the 30th and the remains accompanied by relatives were brought to Atkinson for the burial services Tuesday night.

DIES WHILE ON WAY TO NORFOLK HOSPITAL
Mrs Olive Natchman of Amelia was being Taken There For Operation
While on her way to a hospital in Norfolk where she was to undergo an operation Tuesday, Mrs Olive Natchman of Amelia passed away. She was being taken to the hospital by her son in his automobile in which a bed had been arranged. Mrs Natchman had been ailing for a number of years, principally from gallstones. She was 64 years of age.
Coming to this county from Iowa when she was twelve years of age, Mrs Natchman was one of this community's pioneer women. She was born at Adair, Iowa, May 6,1865. Her husband, Joseph Natchman, died about five years ago. Funeral services were conducted yesterday morning at ten o'clock at the Catholic Church in Amelia by the pastor, Rev Fr Vanderlaan, and burial was made beside the body of her husband in St Joseph's Cemetery in Atkinson.
Mrs Natchman is survived by five children, John, Fred and Olive of Amelia, Harvey of Douglas Wyoming, Mrs Mary Price and Mrs Forbes of Amelia, all of whom were at the funeral. Two brothers and two sisters also survive her, Milton Hunt of Boyd County, John Hunt of Atkinson, Mrs Emma Ellis of Boyd County and Mrs Minnie Turner of Phoeniz. Mrs Natchman lived with her son, John at Amelia.
