MALMO LIBERTY LOAN
The loans in this community as in others in the county were handled thru the banks and with the assistance of the members of the school boards as solicitors. Captains were F. J. Frana and H. Lind, and solicitors were as follows:

All loans were taken, the banks making up the difference between the quotas and the amounts subscribed.

MARIETTA PRECINCT
The captains for the Liberty Loan drives in this precinct were Mr. E. C. Schumaker and D. H. Thompson of Mead. Credit is also due the school board in the precinct for their efforts in making the drives the success they were by soliciting for the several drives. All loans were handled thru the Bank of Mead. COLON LIBERTY LOAN
The Liberty Loan bond subscription in this precinct as in most all of them was handled thru the banks. In each precinct captains were appointed who directed the efforts of the solicitors under their jurisdiction. The solicitors for this district were the school board, and J. F. Bastar, cashier of the Colon State Bank, was the captain.

Clear Creek Precinct:--This precinct made a very creditable showing on all the Liberty .Loan drives, and great praise is due every one who helped to make it the success it was. Its success is due to the efforts of the bank and the school board. The first loan quota was absorbed by the bank, and the second was put over by the combined efforts of Mr. H. H. Ehlers, cashier of the bank and precinct captain, and J. W. Malzen. The remainder were put thru by Mr. Ehlers, with the assistance of the school board, which is as follows:
