The first new home in "new" Ceresco was the east half of this building constructed in 1886 by John Oberg.
This building was the farm house of J.P. Yates when "new" Ceresco was established. It sits west of the Lutheran Church.
The 1976 village board members are Russell V. Swanson, Herman Pearson, Gerald Lawton, mayor Marvin Hanson, clerk treasurer Beverly J. Burr and Leonard Palm.
