On the Ceresco town baseball team in 1908 were, back, Walt Rudeen, Jim Boyles, Joe Blodgett, Dick Mara, Homer Riggs, Vigo Harkson and, middle, Delbert Larson, Bob Jones, Charles Goold, Edwin Boyles and, front, Thurman Martin, Ed Sinn.

   Johnsons' Feed and Fertilizer, begun by Mr. and Mrs. John F. Johnson and Willard in 1929 as the Ceresco Hatchery with first baby chickens hatched in 1930; Walter Johnson joined in 1943; dry fertilizer begun in 1948 and added a feed plant in 1960, a anhydrous ammonia plant in 1962 and liquid fertilizer in 1967; Dennis and Donald Johnson operate today.

   Farmers and Merchants Bank, organized August 26, 1911 and opened in October by president J. L. Winter, cashier M. H. Gross, Alfred Peterson, H. W. Winter, John Martin and J. H. Barry with Fred Mostrom as cashier from 1912 to 1935; other presidents nave been Martin and Frank W. Wedberg; building remodeled in 1942 and 1952 and expanded in 1962; current president is Carl Mostrom associated with the bank since 1922; vice president and cashier is Jon M. Mostrom associated since 1961; vice president is Arnold D. Lowell associated since 1968; assistant cashier is Ruth Steward associated since 1947.

   Mostrom Insurance Agency, operated since 1935 by Carl Mostrom and joined in 1961 by Jon Mostrom.

   Linda's Beauty Salon, operated by Linda Nagel since January 1, 1974.

   Margaret's Cafe, opened by Margaret Graham on August 1, 1975.

   Pytlik Service, owned by Don Pytlik since July 1, 1975; building previously used as service station for many years.
