Adam Sittner and his family are found in Farmer's Valley, Hamilton County,NE in the 1880 Census. The family included the following: Adam Sittner and his children, Johann Adam, Peter and Emma.
Adam's son William and his wife Rosina and their children George, Catherine, Phillip and Parvel
Adam's daughter-in-law Catherine (married to his by then deceased son Conrad) and her children Johann, Conrad and Catherine
This family were Germans from Russia, from the village of Huck, who came to the USA in about 1875.

Emigrated with his father and 9 siblings from South Russia in 1875.
He married Margaretha Huebner in 1877 in Cottonwood Minnesota and they settled in Hamilton County Nebraska before 1878. (His first daughter Margaretha was born in Hampton in 1878.)
The 1880 Census indicates he was a farmer in Beaver, Hamilton, Nebraska.
The US Indexed County Land Ownership Maps shows the 160 acres (T10N, R5W) he owned in Beaver.
Johann and Margaretha had 6 children all born in Hampton County. Johann died in 1905 and is buried in the Beaver Valley Cemetery.
Margaretha died in 1921. Only one daughter Anna, who married Franz Jantzen remained in Nebraska. They farmed in Hamilton County until 1930 when they relocated to Logan, Keith Nebraska.
