KIRKWOOD CEMETERY
The land for this cemetery was given by George Green in 1881 as a burial place for his daughter, Sarah Green. The last burial here as of this date, was for George's daughter-in-law, Lula Armstrong Green in 1974. This memorial is dedicated to the loving memory of those brave pioneers who settled in this community and made it a great place to live. [Click HERE to view image inscription.]
This monument is being set in place in Sept. 2006. And is given by Velma Perry Thomsen, Granddaughter of Lula Green.
