OSMAN, OSMON, PATTERSON posted by Martie Sorensen on Sunday, July 11, 1999: Looking for info on OSMAN/OSMON/PATTERSON. My great grandparents were William Osmon & Harriet Patterson. Their children Albert, Greenberry, Rose, William Grant, Mary, Emma, Irene and Bert were supposedly born in Spring Ranch Township. The family moved to Windsor, California (date unknown). William Osmon's father was Judiah Osmon, his mother was Mary McBride (or Galbreath)and I can't seem to find any info on Judiah or Mary. Wondering if they might have died there and been buried in a local cemetary. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

BEGGS, ELLIOTT, WILLIAMS posted by Sue Kleinschmidt on Wednesday, July 21, 1999: I'm looking for ELLIOTTs who were in the Clay county area in the late 1800s to the mid 1900s. Charles P. ELLIOTT was my grandfather. He married Sarah Emmeline (Lina) WILLIAMS in 1908. Charles b. abt.1870 (maybe later) - Sarah E. was born 1876 in the Bruning area, I think. They had one child, Sarah Nancy (Frazier) b. 1909 d. 1971. (My mother) Charles had at least one brother Fred and I'm pretty sure more siblings. There were alot of ELLIOTTs in Clay, Fillmore, Thayer, Nuckolls, Jefferson, Saline counties in NE. I know there are some ELLIOTTs buried in Edgar. Sarah Emmelines' mother and father are: Sarah (BEGGS) 1832-1913 - George WILLIAMS 1825-1897. Charles ELLIOTT and Sarah were divorced in 1913 and Charles went to CO. and remarried. I have an article from a NE. (probably Fillmore co.) newspaper that tells of his death. He was 65 when he died and I believe he died 1935-1943. I also have a picture of Charles and Fred and two pictures of Charles and Sarah. Anyone know of any other kin in Clay county? I would love to have some info on these families as I have no one left to ask. Sue billsue@navix.net

They migrated there from Fayette County Ohio around 1880. There was also a Ermaline Wade who migrated about the same time. Any information about any of these people would be appreciated. I believe this to be the son of ISSAC NEWTON MITCHELL and brother of my husband's gr. grandmother, ELIZABETH MITCHELL who married DR. ASA, BUSH, FINE posted by Nancy Boon on Thursday, August 26, 1999: I am looking for infomation on my ancestors who lived in Ong, Clay County, Nebraska. I would love to hear from anyone with information about them My mother was Jean Asa who married Dr. John McMillan and lived in Hastings. My grandparents were Ora Bush Fine Asa and Dr. Oran Conley Asa. My grandfather was a doctor in Ong until about 1947 when he retire to Hastings. I have no information on my grandmother's first husband, Fred Fine. My great grandparents were Charles and Lena Bush and Lysander and Nancy Asa. I have lots of information on these people but am always looking for more. Thanks for any help you can give.
