Neighbors... Keith county was organized in 1873 from unorganized territory. In 1877 it was split in approximately half and the southern part became Perkins county. It is bordered on the north by Arthur County, on the northeast by McPherson County, on the east by Lincoln County, on the south by Perkins County, on the southwest by Sedgwick County, Colorado on the west by Deuel County, and on the northwest by Garden County.
