COLE, FURMAN, SCHOONOVER, WICKS posted by Gretchen Kohl on Sunday, November 16, 1997

FURMAN: My grandfather, Roy FURMAN was born in Rushville, Sheridan Cty, NE in 1888. His parents were Elmer and Myrtle COLE FURMAN. His brother, Lloyd was born there in 1891 and sister Leta in 1893. Elmer and Myrtle were divorced after Leta's birth and left NB. Elmer was the son of Mary Pearl SCHOONOVER FURMAN who also lived in Rushville until her death in 1914 as did another of her sons, James Lamorington FURMAN and his wife Helen WICKS FURMAN. I have been in contact with FURMAN cousins still in the area and am always interested in locating more of the family. Gretchen Kohl [Alameda,CA] - [email protected]
