CAWTHORNE, ELLIS, MOSS, PRUE posted by Gloria J. (Rongish) Martinson on Monday, August 3, 1998: I am looking for information about my great-grandparents, Minnie PRUE who married an Elvis ELLIS and later married George CAWTHORNE. I have no information about when she was born or where. She died about 15 years ago. She had 3 children, Celia, Faye and Hazel (my grandmother who married Roscoe C. MOSS in 1919. Thank you for your time and any help you may have. I will be happy to share what I have.

FICKES, HUBBARD, MARSHALL posted by Karen Meireis on Tuesday, August 11, 1998: Looking for information on Solomon FICKES who homesteaded in Sheridan Co. NE and died prior to 1890. He was married to Almira who was still living after his death. Also on Jerry or Jerimiah FICKES who also homesteaded there and married Bertha MARSHALL dau. of Jacob and Annabell (HUBBARD) MARSHALL in Rushville on 24 Dec 1895. There was also a Franklin FICKES who homesteaded there. Time living here abt 1882-1901

BRITT posted by Mary Sejkora on Monday, August 24, 1998: Looking for information on the descendents of William BRITT. William moved with at least two of his sons, John Henry BRITT and Adelbert "Del" BRITT to Rushville. William died April 2, 1931 in or near Rushville and his body was brought back to DuBois, in Pawnee County for burial next to his wife, Mary Ann DEWITT BRITT. John Henry BRITT married Nellie Florence Cummings circa July 1899 and they had eight children: Helen, Willard, Lois, Ruth (who married Glen STINSON), Lloyd, Ernest, Enid and Laurence Robert.
