COTTIER, LEVERMONT, LIVERMONT posted by Trudy Spanier on Tuesday, July 27, 1999: HAZEL E. LEVERMONT b. Dec 16, 1894 married CHARLES COTTIER in Rapid City, South Dakota on Jan 22, 1913. I found a HAZEL COTTIER in Social Security records says died December 1878 Chadron, Nebraska. Is there anyone who might be able to give me a date off cemetery records or death index? I would like to be able to obtain an obit? Thanks.

Sisters: Angeline Dix-Hewett-English, Dama, Cora, Beryl, Axiie, Josie, Mary. Brothers: Charley, and Solly. Also looking for information on HEWETT family from Gordon, Nebr. Brothers: Frank, Clarence, Bruce. Sister Cora or Coraline. My grandmother is Angeline Dix and my grandfather was Clarence Hewett and my step-grandfather was John(Jack) English, who also lived in Gordon. Jack owned a bakery called English's Bakery and Cafe. The Hewett's were ranchers as were the Dix's.Frank and Bruce Hewett belonged to the Arcana #195 Masonic Lodge in Gordon.

Came NE in 1884 from Colon, MI, homesteaded near Gordon,NE. Their children: Gideon(3/20/1884-10/24/1918), Hattie (1885-1954), Vern (1888-1974), Clarence, Earl. Susanne married again to Frank Sandall. Alvin, my g-grandfather, Gideon, my grandfather. Gideon married Carrie Bell Fowler (daughter of William Preston Fowler) 3-18-1907. Children were: Virgil, Wayne (1911-), Milborn, Dwight. Carrie remarried after Gideon died of the flue in 1918 to Emil Rittscher. Wayne Salisbury (my dad) married Lola Harris (Daughter of Phillip Harris)4/1/1934, moved to Oregon with Rittscher family in 11/1936.
