Looking for information on a Jacob PERRY who is listed as a farmer in Merna in 1896. I am not sure but I believe this is my Great Great Great Grandfather who moved from Marshall Co. Illinois to Marshall Co. Iowa and then to Merna, Ne. He and his wife had custody of their Grandson George Mitchell HULL. Their daughter Martha (Perry) Hull died in Illinois and they took custody of their grandson. The Perry's I am looking for moved to Merna about 1880. My Great Grandfather George Hull was married in Merna in April of 1892. Thankyou for your time and help in this matter. Rick Covic

My Grandfather Joseph James DRAGOO homesteaded in Delight Twp., Custer Co., Nebraska in 1885. His wife was Caroline Lucinda "Cindy" LYONS She is listed with him on the homestead papers and on the 1885 State Census. They had 3 children at this time, Mamie E., Elzie T. and Mertie L. None of them are listed with Joseph and Caroline on that census. Joseph "Joe" is shown as a farmer on the 1886 Business directory as a Farmer. Their daughter Mertie L. Dragoo died in 1886 at age 12 and is buried in Sand Valley Cemetery. Joseph commuted his homestead to cash and sold to his neighbor Mr. HOLLOWAY. The final papers do not show Caroline. WHAT HAPPENED TO CAROLINE?

I am looking for information about William Thomas EDWARDS b. 22 May 1880 in Custer County, Nebraska. His parents were William Henry EDWARDS and Amanda Catherine BOND. According to the information I have William Henry EDWARDS & Amanda Catherine BOND were married in September 1879 in Hall County, Nebraska. Family lore says that William Henry EDWARDS abandonded the family sometime after the birth of another child in Hall County, Nebraska in 1883. William Thomas EDWARDS married Lulu WOLF in 1903 and had two known children: Sylvia who married Lucien HIGLEN and Patsy (no information is known about her). If anyone can help, I will appreciate it. I have information about the BOND family and will be willing to trade. Thank you.
