Looking for information on Royses living in Custer County ca 1880. Edward Royse (1858-1917) was mayor. He lived next to Charles Royse (1854-1926). According to his Death Certificate, the parents of Charles Royse were Peter Royse and Mary A. Goody.

My father and his family were from Custe County. My father's name was Clarence Alva Smith, born 11-24-1911, his father was George Smith, and his mother Eva Parr Smith. I am hoping to make a trip to the Broken Bow area this fall, and would be interested in any information, such as burial sites of my grandparents, location of the family farm in Custer County. My Grandfather Otto Claude Tracy,may have worked on one of the Tracy farms in custer county.and courted my grandmother.She was Matilda Schieck from Buffalo county.She may have been visiting my Greatgrandmother Goering, who resided in Buffalo cty, near Schnidertownship. I am hoping to get a link between my Grandfather and someone in that region of Neb, as we lost track of him in 1904.
