He could be a brother to Otis and Oscar Brant as well. He is on the Custer Co. census for 1900. It says he was born in 1868 in Illinois.

I have his death notice from one of the newspaper. He was my great grandfather he came from Illinois. Elmer Dahmer was his son (my grandfather)and he married Marie Marth. Elmer I was told was a mailman in Custer County. Elmer and Marie Divorced. The children were,Raymond, Emma (Cook), Violet (Nursing Home) Clarence (my father) Leroy, Frances, and Ethel. I'm looking also for information on Claus Marth he lived in Comstock he was my great Uncle(Marie Marths brother)I have relatives in Burwell but do not know them. Margie Marth married Earl Greene. LeRoy Marth and Maynard Marth also related. If anyone knows of any informaton please contact me. Thank you.

Nellie was yhe daughter of Rachel St. Clair and Jim CHADD. Rachel married Cincinnatus GRAVES in Broken Bow on December 25, 1884.
