He and Elijah came from Wapello County, Iowa to Sargent, NE, Nov., 1887 to homestead. He is listed on the homesteader list. I am trying to find out his wife's name and whether he and his wife stayed in the Sargent area. I'd also like to know if they had children. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They came from Wapello County, Iowa to Sargent, NE to homestead. Elijah came first with his brother-in -law, John Holloway in 1887. Leonard came later after first trying to homestead in SD. I am especially interested in William and whether he stayed in the Sargent area with his brothers or moved on. I also need his wife's name and names of their children. Thank you.

HAMILTON, OLSON, POSTON, SCHALLER, SCHREYER posted by Holly R. Harber on Wednesday, June 12, 2002: I am a grandaughter of Mildred Alice Olson. Her parents were Alice Gertrude Poston and Oscar Olson. I know of 2 children that died young of my great grandparents. The one daughter was 2 her name was Opal. Mildred was the only girl left living. Alice is a descendant of Schreyer, Schaller, Poston. Oscar I am not sure but would like any information on any of them. Thank You.

He was married to a Sarah Alma Haskins. I know of one child's name - William Daniel Webster (born 1873) but do not know the name of his siblings. William was my grandfather. So I'm posting this query in hopes that someone may be able to help me. The person I'm looking for the obit for is Lee Palmer. He died in June 1980, according to the SSDI. His birthdate was 28 Aug. 1888. Thank you very much. Judy
