She died 26 Apr 1934 in Custer County, NE. There is an article on her in the Ansley Herald. I don't know if this is the date of the article in the paper or if it is her obit. Woodward on Wednesday, December 4, 2002: My wife's great-grandparents Alexander and Sarah Ann (Smith) Durham homesteaded in the Douglas Grove area on March 16, 1883 and Alexander died in 1892. He is buried in the Douglas Grove Cemetery. Would like to hear from anyone with information about the family. Will gladly share information.
